The Group of Greyhounds are one of the earliest known Parian figurines made by Belleek. They were designed by the Rev Halahan Dunbar sometime before 1867. He was Church of Ireland curate in Belleek and a good friend of R.W Armstrong, one of the founders of the Pottery. The piece continued in production until the early part of the 20th century but was no longer featured in any catalogue after 1904.
