I absolutely love these mugs and have purchased several times and given as gifts as everyone comments on them when I serve tea/coffee when they come round.

I really wanted to like these mugs that were so attractively packed in their gift box.
However the unglazed texture of the mugs was very harsh, having a very unpleasant feel to then. I likened it to running your finger nails down a chalk board.
A bit harsh perhaps but maybe a light glaze would alleviate this issue.
I also purchased a number of other mugs in a gift box of four, These are most excellent.
I returned the grey mugs in the " hat box" gift boxes. I am still waiting for my refund ( I was not happy having to pay £14.40 in postage )

Gorgeous mugs! Love the design and they are beautifully presented in a round hatbox so would make a lovely gift. I bought a set for myself and loved them so much I bought a set for a gift too. Bonus, they are dishwasher safe
